We’ll stream your sale. It won’t cost you a thing.
Bluestem Digital partners with livestock auctions to modernise how they connect with buyers, consignors and local businesses, without changing how sale day works.
No cost, no added workload, no new job for your crew
You run the sale. We run the broadcast. Then we split the advertising revenue it generates.
We provide the setup
Cameras, encoders, ringside screens and everything else, supplied, installed and maintained by us. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges and no hidden expenses. If something breaks, it is our problem to fix.
We run every broadcast
Scheduling, setup, stream creation and day-of operation, including starting and stopping the stream. Nobody on your staff has to learn a piece of software or babysit a broadcast.
We sell the advertising
We handle the ad sales, the creative, the scheduling and the billing, and you receive a share of the revenue from the ads running on your sale.
Getting as many eyes on your sale as we can
Our streams run with a short 30 to 45 second broadcast delay. That is deliberate. It lets us prioritise stream stability, video quality and reliability instead of transaction speed, which gives everybody watching a smoother and more consistent picture.
Everything we build points at one thing: exposure. More buyers watching from further out, more consignors seeing what your market brings, and more people who have never been to your barn finding it. Whatever you use for bidding is entirely your call, and the broadcast runs alongside it.

One switch. That’s the whole job.
The kill switch
The only thing we ever ask of the barn is use of the in-house kill switch, so your people can hide a sensitive moment when they need to, such as removing a down animal. Nothing else on sale day falls to your staff.
What we do on the off days
We look after the equipment all week, not just on sale day: stress-testing gear, checking network stability and running test streams between sales, so the next one has the best chance of going smoothly.
A better option than a painted banner
Ringside TVs are our highest-performing and best-selling advertising product. Buyer attention is already pointed at the ring, so the screens get seen through active bidding, lot changes and everything in between, without distracting from the sale itself.
They also give you a way to retire the static banners on your walls and offer those advertisers something modern instead. Digital spots are cleaner, easier to update and worth more, and combining them with livestream advertising can nearly double total advertising revenue at a barn.
Ten percent of every ad dollar your barn brings in
Simple and transparent. No upfront investment, no ongoing costs, and no responsibility for selling or managing ads.
10% of advertising revenue
Every location receives ten percent of all advertising revenue generated at their barn, across both the ringside screens and the livestream.
Ten-second seats
Advertising is sold in ten-second seats, ninety per placement, with each playlist capped at fifteen minutes to protect advertiser value and keep renewals strong.
None of it
We handle all sales, design, scheduling and ongoing management. Your share arrives without anyone at the barn selling a thing.
More services, same simple model
We are currently testing text and email alert systems for market previews and market reports, and we plan to offer those and more under the same revenue-sharing arrangement. Barns already on the network get first look.
Your pages first, and one more channel besides
Your sale streams live to your barn’s own Facebook page, YouTube channel and X account. The audience, the followers and the comments stay with you.
On top of that, every sale is simulcast to the LivestockHub YouTube channel, where buyers who have never heard of your barn go looking for cattle. That is new eyes on your consignments, at no cost to you.

More buyers in the seats, and in the chat
A livestreamed sale reaches buyers who could not make the drive that day. It pulls in consignors who are deciding where to take their next load. And it gives your regulars a reason to keep an eye on your barn between sales.
Our goals for every location we serve are simple: increase exposure, increase revenue, and strengthen the market you have already built.

What barns usually ask
What does the barn pay?
Nothing. We supply and install the equipment, run the broadcasts and sell the advertising at our own cost. There are no setup fees, no monthly charges and no hidden expenses. The arrangement is funded by advertising, and your barn takes ten percent of the advertising revenue generated at your location.
Do you handle online bidding?
No, we are a broadcast and advertising company. Our stream runs 30 to 45 seconds behind so we can put the effort into picture quality and reliability, which is what makes a sale worth watching. Bidding is yours to handle however you like, and plenty of our barns run a bidding platform alongside our broadcast.
Who owns the Facebook and YouTube audience?
You do. The sale streams to your barn’s own pages and channels. Followers, comments and history all stay with you.
How much work is this for my staff?
Effectively none. We run the broadcast ourselves. The only thing we ask is that somebody can hit the in-house kill switch if a sensitive moment needs hiding. Your crew sells cattle exactly the way they do now.
What about our internet connection?
We check that during the walk-through. Plenty of the barns on our network are in places with thin service and we have ways to work around it. Tell us what you have and we will tell you what it needs.
Do we have to take the ringside screens?
Not necessarily, and some locations run the livestream only. But the screens are our best-selling product, they let you retire static banners, and running both can nearly double the advertising revenue at a barn.
Can we still sell our own local advertising?
Let’s talk about it. Plenty of barns have long-standing relationships with local businesses and we would rather work with that than around it.
Let’s talk about your barn.
A short phone call is usually enough to work out whether this makes sense for you. No pressure and no obligation.
